Meet the Farmers
Chris & Jo Johns are long-serving managers on John Shrimpton’s Glenthorne Station. The farm has undergone extreme development to fence off areas for regenerative protection and better grazing control. John has a strong interest in carbon sequestration as well as incorporating livestock for soil nutrient management. The farm is one of Canterbury’s largest at 25,243 hectares of which only 70% is grazed.
