Big dog Robin Goomes is exactly who we want to be when we grow up. Tough, gritty, fearless, steezy. And outrageously lethal on two wheels.
Raised in Aotearoa on steep dirt and stubborn lines, she rides with a mix of control and chaos that’s impossible to tear your eyes from. Robin made history with back-to-back wins at Red Bull Rampage in 2024 and 2025, cementing her rightful place at the top of the MTB food chain and showing off her fearless style and technical precision. She turned the biggest stage in freeride bike into her stomping ground, finding creative lines where others see limits.
Robin’s never been one to play it safe. She’s here to build a legacy. As a Mons athlete, she represents a new wave of freeride bike – grounded, driven and always ready to push the boundary of what’s possible. With NST Bike ahead, she’s lining up to raise the bar all over again.

Hi, I'm Robin Goomes.
To the point. We like it. What’s your first memory of biking?
This one time when I was little, maybe 6 years old, I rode my cousin's bike and didn't know how to use the brakes. I followed her down a steep hill and crashed into a fence at the bottom, haha.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve done lately? Any fun missions?
I won a truck at Rampage.
What’s one thing you’re learning or trying to get better at right now?
360s on repeat till I get it locked.
What’s one dream or mission you’d love to see come to life?
A Robin Goomes x Martha Gill film collab.
What’s the next mission you’re scheming, or what’s getting you fired up at the moment?
Just stoked on biking at the moment, so I’m enjoying that before the season gets firing.
What’s something people wouldn’t guess about you?
I believe in aliens.

My shifty cap.
What draws you to NST specifically?
There are too many things, but it's especially special for me to have this event in NZ.
What kind of skier/rider do you think NST rewards?
Someone with all-round bike control, a good bag of tricks and steeze.
How does competing at NST compare to other events you do or have done?
NST is unlike any other event I've done. It's not slopestyle, and it's not Rampage. It has a unique format and definitely fills a gap in MTB.
